Kevin McNulty, a founding partner of Coole Immersive, Inc, comes from a background which includes over 20 years in process engineering, video and audio production, and industrial training.

Kevin identified a need for a Serious Games approach to industrial training that would serve a growing market of safety and litigation-conscious industries; as well, resource-based industries, recognizing the need for continuous learning, require training material to meet the needs of an ever-more knowledgeable and sophisticated workforce.

Study of the technologies involved in Digital Media, including instructional design applications for computer gaming engines, led Kevin to develop the framework for the Coole Immersive approach to game-based learning.

Kevin is a recognized leader in the field of simulation-based learning, and has spoken on the topic at conferences in North America, Europe and the Middle East. Kevin is a founding member of Serious Games Canada and a member of the advisory board for ANGILS, the European Serious Games Alliance.
