Lucie Lalumière joined Earth Rangers in 2008 as Vice President Interactive, where she leads the organization’s new online initiatives empowering kids to take action in protecting animals and the environment.  Previously, Ms. Lalumière was Vice President and General Manager Interactive at Corus Entertainment, where she was in charge of Corus Television’s interactive properties and developed new business opportunities.  She spearheaded a number of initiatives including the positioning of YTV.com as a leader in youth content as well as the creation of an innovative network of virtual worlds for kids.

With fifteen years of experience in the interactive industry, Ms. Lalumière has held a number of strategic positions.  She was Executive Director of New Media at Radio-Canada, where she was responsible for new media partnerships and ventures including the award-winning Radio-Canada.ca.  Prior to that, Ms. Lalumière headed up the development of multimedia applications at Bell and online content at Sympatico, where she also served as General Manager of online French services.

Ms. Lalumiere sits on the Board of Interactive Ontario.  She was previously a Board member for the Bell Broadcast and New Media Fund and the chair of the international multimedia committee of the Communauté des Télévisions Francophones.

Ms. Lalumière holds an undergraduate degree in Management of Information Systems from Université de Sherbrooke and an MBA from McGill University, completed at New York University’s Interactive Telecommunications Program.
